"A Women's Leadership Gathering," an online virtual day of conversation at the Global Dialogue Center Online Conference Center, celebrating the International Women's Day 2008.
Co-Hosted by Debbe Kennedy
A gift to the women of the world. 121 women from 13 countries put their differences and fingerprints on this unique day of conversation in some way. Accomplished women thought-leaders from Hewlett-Packard and IBM worked to seed the conversations with women leaders from HP, IBM, Agilent, Bayer, Genworth Financial, Microsoft, Dow-Corning, SAP, Sodexo and from universities, non-profits, health care, government, entrepreneurs, graduate student interns representing Australia, New Zealand, India, France, Germany, China, Mexico, Canada, UK, Italy and across the United States.

Putting Our Differences to Work Gathering and Celebration
at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco
Thursday, June 19 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
This special event will include a program in the afternoon and celebration with an interactive art exhibit by by Bay Area Artist, Sally K. Green, who did the cover design and illustrations for the book. The location was chosen for its rich history for civic dialogue, including presentations by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and as the place where the United Nations met before signing its charter. Dr. King, the United Nations and Grace Cathedral are also a featured best practice stories in the book.
NOTE: Long-time collaborators Debbe Kennedy and Joel Barker, futurist, filmmaker, and author (Paradigms: The Business of Discovering the Future) are teaming up to celebrate the launch of Putting Our Differences to Work with a debut of Joel Barker's new film, Innovation at the Verge. Joel Barker reads from Putting Our Differences to Work in the new film. He also wrote the foreword and Chapter 10 in Debbe Kennedy's book; she collaborated on the research for the film.
